Crude Project

I started the Crude project with the goal of making fashion accessible to the community without contributing to waste. We chose to source all of our clothes with sustainability in mind with each piece being a thrift store reject. These pieces did not reach the criteria to make it on the thrift store floor, but with some care and creativity, we were able to give them another chance.

Instead of selling our pieces online, we decided to take them straight to the community. We started out with local flea markets and expanded to marketplaces in Chandler and Laguna Hills. This opportunity allowed me to expand my graphic design skills, as I was making all brand design assets used in our booths. Being able to intersect my love of fashion and graphic design made this one of the most fulfilling projects I have ever done, and I am extremely grateful

Clothing Modification

While I was working on the Crude Project, the majority of the secondhand clothing I came across were one step away from being tossed in the landfill. I used bleach, paint, and other materials to give each of these pieces a new look - one that represents personal style. These are my favorite pieces from this era.
